Who we are
MapyGo ("we", "us") operates this website. For any privacy question, write to the address on our contact page.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. If you send a message through the contact form we receive your name, email address and the message itself. If you generate an itinerary we store the plan and the inputs that produced it so the shareable link keeps working; this is not linked to your identity.
- Information collected automatically. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps) which we use for security and troubleshooting, plus aggregate analytics about which pages are read.
- Cookies. A session cookie is set only when an administrator signs in. Preference cookies (for example your light/dark theme choice) are stored in your browser. Advertising and analytics partners may set their own cookies as described below.
Advertising
This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense and other third-party vendors.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand which content is useful. Analytics data is aggregated and IP addresses are anonymised where the platform supports it. You can block analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
How we use information
To operate and improve the site, answer your messages, keep saved itineraries working, measure which content helps travellers, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Contact messages are kept while they are useful for support and then deleted. Server logs are rotated regularly. Saved itineraries persist so that shared links continue to work; ask us and we will delete a specific plan.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Email us and we will act on verified requests within a reasonable period.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above.
